This is a very special etching to me as I did work in this type of printing process only once. Its a copper plate etching measuring 22cm x 23,5cm inspired by a shadow self-portrait made a couple of weeks before at Colonia Roma, Mexico City. Fernando Sandoval and their assistants supervised the process and helped me thoroughly to produce this print at the workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico. Working at this workshop was an honour, I was extremely lucky to be there crossing the late and honourable Maestro Toledo and be assisted by such an incredible team.
The work now sees the light in a digital version as the art cover for the online release of 'Shortcuts', four improvisational pieces created with Wade Matthews in Madrid, to be released March 2021 at Otoroku, Cafe OTO in London.

This print comes unframed and unmounted, well packaged and wrapped. It would look great float or window mounted in a simple frame.
